Parrot Wing Pendant (The Goddess Stone)
Description: I adore Parrot Wing. It often has a multitude of colors reminiscent of its namesake. This wedge-style pendant has uniform blue-green colors with some black tendrils to boot. That color combination is consistent over the entire piece. The pendant was cut from a slab of stone with high-end consistent colors. A sterling silver bail, with an intricate pattern, tops off the pendant. This stone is polished to a satin finish on the front and sides, and medium satin polish on the back. Approximate Size: The top is 3/8” wide and the widest point is just over 1”. Height is 1 & 7/8”, not including the fitting. Thickness is 1/4”.
Care: Parrot Wing is a mix of mineral types, so hardness can vary from 3 to 7 on the Mohs scale, which means softer areas could scratch relatively easily. It should be stored where it will not impact against other hard items. Additionally, do not immerse the pendant in water and do not use an ultrasonic cleaner or household cleaners. Clean with a damp cotton cloth, let air dry and then use a polishing cloth.
